Since James joined Sandiacre in 2008 he has played 323 games for the club at an average of 34.20 which includes 61 50s and 11 100s producing over 11,000 runs for the club. This is a huge achievement especially facing the new ball every week. He has also played professional cricket for Derbyshire for 3 years and represented England U19s.
